Robert De Niro. Al Pacino. Together.
And it looks like it’s gonna suck.
Have you seen the trailer for “Righteous Kill,” a cop thriller coming out in September? The story smells like a throwback to “Magnum Force.” The dialogue sounds a notch or two below “Law & Order.”
And Pacino and De Niro, sad to say, look like they’re phoning it in.
Add Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson to the mix, and guess who won’t be buying a ticket? Me, that’s who.

I knew it would suck when Deniro and 50 were on the cover of Vibe (?).
I wish that Deniro and Pacino would try a bit harder. Oh well.
It's written by the guy who wrote Inside Man, which is the only reason I still think this film might somehow amount to a decent diversion. But everything about it looks terrible.
Did you hear about 50's new video game? It's about 50 and his crew getting ambushed at a USO show and they have to fight their way out of Iraq.
I am seriously not kidding.

Oh Lawd... did he say Fiddy was a good actor?

Well, Inside Man wasn't all that. Just ran across it on cable the other night... and I didn't stick with it for more than a couple of minutes.

Yo, whatever keeps him off the street...
I saw the trailer a few weeks back and it looks terrible. For those who care, it appears that 50 Cent (thankfully) is only in the movie for less than 5 minutes. Once in the beginning of the movie and again at the end.
That's according to an early screening review posted on aintitcool.com
