Bonus MBP: Los Angeles Times (again)

The following correction appeared in the L.A. Times yesterday (April 1):

“College basketball: A photo caption on the cover of Monday’s Sports section incorrectly identified the Memphis Tigers player pictured as Chris Douglas-Roberts. The player was Memphis sophomore Shawn Taggart.”

Welcome to the Final Four, young’uns!

Yo UBM! What's Up?

You got me nostalgic for Memphis. That's where I went to college in the early 90's. Remember seeing Penny Hardaway in person playing for Memphis State, Also, some good music, like seeing Three Six Mafia and Gangsta Boo, even B.B. King and Tom Cruise (Filming 'The Firm') ... and Atlanta's Freaknic was just a few hours away. Whatever happened to that? ah... good times. Oddly enough, Memphis took a loong time to reach the sweet 16. I never, ever, thought I see the day of then being in the final four.

PS- Check your email, I sent you the links for the censored Boondocks episodes.

^Talk about misidentified! LOL.

I was a big Mike Hampton fan when he was a Met. (I still have his #32 t-shirt!) Funny thing is, when I showed my sister his picture in the Mets yearbook, the first thing she said was: "Is he black?" :-)
