Hillary Clinton are spreading the word in Democratic circles that she has scandalous information about her principal opponent for the party's presidential nomination, Sen. Barack Obama, but has decided not to use it. The nature of the alleged scandal was not disclosed.
“This word-of-mouth among Democrats makes Obama look vulnerable and Clinton look prudent. ...”
Matt Drudge links to it. In red type. Which means that Rush Limbaugh will probably talk about it on Monday... unless that fat load takes all of Thanksgiving week off. One can only hope.
So... might Sen. Obama be the subject of the supposed L.A. Times sex-scandal bombshell-in-waiting??

It's interesting that it's allegedly Hilary who has the info, since she was the one the item was allegedly about in the first place! This gets weirder and more convoluted every time it comes up!
Still no idea who will get my vote, but I add this to the long list of reasons why it most certainly will not be Hillary. "Barack is a bad person, but I'm much too classy to to into detail about it."
Given the source...Robert Novak...isn't it possible he planted this item to smear BOTH candidates? What proof did he offer that the Clinton campaign is behind this? None. Yet the jpm's of the world are ready to blame Clinton on the word of the scum bag who outed Valerie Plame and felt no regret at destroying her career.

Great post! I thought that the dirt was on Hillary, when did it become Obama? I don't trust either one of them. But have not ruled out voting for Obama.

I can only IMAGINE The press if Obama had cheated on his wife.

Elementary strategy.
If you know you're going to take a big hit on a sex scandal, make a pre emptive strike. Accuse the other guy.
It's still all about Hil and her sleeping with one of her employees. Doesn't matter in the big city, but a married woman sleeping with a younger woman who works for her is still a big deal in flyover country.
Millions of middle aged men already hated Hil for all the obvious reasons. Now millions of middle aged women will hate her too.
Why?
Envy. Lots of middle aged houswives wish they could have a globetrotting career punctuated by the occasianal hook up with a hot girl-friday.
I'm voting for Clinton no matter what. We need Bill back in the White House! :-D
