No comments? I have a few...surprise, surprise.

1) Love these guys! Truly. They are completely committed to their task.
2) In the cultural realm, are nerds by definition white guys? Think of the movie "Revenge of the Nerds" the only black guy wasn't a nerd, just gay.
3) And, I just have to ask. UBM, how did you find this since the title is "Good Anal"? What search engine or keyword search are you using? :)

We all know that black nerds exist. And some -- like the blogger Afronerd -- aren't ashamed to represent.

I myself am polymorphously nerdy. I'm a funk nerd, a TV nerd, a comedy/improv nerd (but most gratefully NOT a comic-book nerd or SF/fantasy nerd).

You're right, though, verb, that we're rarely depicted in the popular culture.

Heh. The guy who shot this, Jeff Krulik, is a friend of mine. He co-directed the famous "Heavy Metal Parking Lot."

Right. Will check out Afronerd. Looking forward...

Hadn't heard of "Heavy Metal Parking Lot," but thanks to google, I have now added the flick to my Netflix queue. As my husband just informed me "I attended the Black and Blue [Judas Priest, Blue Oyster Cult, and Black Sabbath] series at that venue!!" All I got is Van Halen at the Whiskey and X at the Roxy. :)

what is wrong with being a comic-book, sci-fi nerd, David? Those are the perfect things to geek out on, besides TV. Someone needs to watch some Stargate or Battlestar Galactica!! lol

I don't mean no harm, Wanda. But I draw the line at conventions.

Geeking out on in the privacy of my own home... that's keeping it in check. Getting together with a thousand other nerds? That's just tragic.
