A free Ursula Rucker/Sonia Sanchez download

Spoken-word artist Ursula Rucker has a new album dropping in two weeks – “Ruckus Soundsysdom.”

A track from Ms. Rucker’s 2006 album, “Ma’at Mama,” is available as a FREE MP3.

Click here to hear “Humbled” on my Vox blog. It also features Sonia Sanchez, the longtime activist poet.

To download “Humbled,” follow this link to betterPropaganda and look in the upper right corner.

Ursula had a great poem at the end of The Roots' "Things Fall Apart" album. Actually, it was one of the best cuts on there.

I'll have to check this one out.

I dig Ursula, though I'm not into spoken word all that much. She's kinda fierce. L.O.V.E. is one of my favorites.
