Great cut. Speaking of Freddie Hubbard, he's in L.A. this week at Catalina's. We're going Friday if you're interested. It's described as a "70th Birthday Party" so I don't know quite what to expect. Since his lip injury he hasn't played much. No idea if he can still cut it. But I've never seen him before so I have to be there for posterity if nothing else.
Enjoy that show, Doug. I'm also curious to know what kind of shape his chops are in.
A nice romp....thought he was gonna give the drummer a little....but guess they ran outta tape.
