Stephen Carter remembers Thurgood Marshall

Law professor and novelist Stephen L. Carter is one of many thoughtful persons who have contributed their voices to an online project called Big Think.

In the video clip below, Prof. Carter shares recollections of Justice Thurgood Marshall, the first African American to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court. (Carter had clerked for him in the early 1980s.)

Thanks for posting this. It was good to hear Mr. Carter's account of Thurgood Marshall and give flesh to who was previously an encyclopedia bio to me.
