Goodness gracious, with Fay Victor, Dave Fiuczynski, Toshi Reagon, Rudresh Mahanthappa, Citizen Cope, the Dap-Kings, TV On The Radio, Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra and some people I haven’t got around to writing about yet (Bill Laswell, Will Bernard)... tell me where is there more cool music per square mile?And don’t leave out Saul Williams.
Who is Saul Williams? A poet. Actor. Screenwriter. And recording artist.
His new album – “The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of NiggyTardust” – is only available online. It was produced by Trent Reznor, so Nine Inch Nails fans will definitely want to check it out.

Slam was a very good indie. Your girl, Sonja Sohn, was in it, too. I think it was filmed in either DC or Balmer.
