Saturday morning cartoon

Worst. Cartoon. Ever. Depressingly worthless in every way.

Off-Topic: I just checked out some Treme info on HBO.com. The cast looks dyn-O-mite!! John Goodman! Melissa Leo! Khandi Alexander -- who doesn't seem to age! Not to mention the likes of Teddy Ruxpin aka Wendell Pierce!

Also, I recently pronounced Treme wrong and my friend shot me a look like I should have known better!

Last thing, umm...please maintain a decent eye candy threshold! I initially rejected The Wire because I heard it was about Baltimore, black men and drugs. I ended up watching because I peeped all of the good looking men parading through! Just sayin... =)

Wow, glad I missed that one as a kid. Really bad. Deliriously bad. And so was the laugh track. I only lasted a minute. But now I know what "Wacky and Packy" was.

^ As awful as "Wacky and Packy" was, Macon, it was just a small part of a larger monstrosity... the worst Saturday-morning kid show ever... "Uncle Croc's Block."

Charles Nelson Reilly and the Dr Smith guy from Lost In Space on the same show, is kinda awesome in a way that I wouldn't have appreciated back then. Basil Bitterbottom. Woah!

I don't remember these, either. Must'a been watching something on another network.

An interesting fact about Jonathan Harris: he was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY (in fact, he went to school with Carl Reiner's wife). He started to develop his "faux British" accent when he started becoming serious about acting. I can imagine him sounding like Bugs Bunny, or Baby Herman from Roger Rabbit, screaming at the producers between takes; "Basil Bittabottom!?! WHO DA F**K WRITES DIS S**T!?!!!!
