Maggotrivia

The Pedro Bell benefit show tomorrow night in New York City will feature such funky luminaries as Bernie Worrell, Melvin Gibbs and guitarist Ronny Drayton. Wish I could be there.

But here’s a video I originally posted in 2007. It’s Pedro on a Chicago public-access cable show back in the 1990s. Wild stuff.

Didn't know Ratso was so informative! Is somebody taping the benefit show? I'd buy a copy of that.

I remember watching this a while back. Thanks for posting. And like you, I wish I could've been there. Spent many a night, and day, reading and deciphering the Funkadelic artwork while enjoying a funny-smelling cigarete. His "Some of My Jokes Are Friends" and "R&B Skeletons In The Closet" for George Clinton was some of his best sheeiit.
