Okay. I was a little disappointed when the continuous line breaks at 2:36, but over all, I really liked this. :-)

La linea was a regular feature on Icelandic TV in the late 70s and early 80s (the national broadcaster). They used it as a "filler" all the time and I mean ALL the time. So this is pure nostalgia for me! La linea is totally unique. I love it.

@Anna:

As soon as I saw "LineMan" I recognized him instantly! They used to show this in America too, on a little show called "The Great Space Coaster"! The GSC was like a low-budget version of Sesame Street (with puppets and black-out skits and such--THIS was one of those skits). Ironically, one of the puppeteers on GSC was Kevin Clash, who would go on to greater acclaim as Elmo on SS! Thanks for letting me take the trip in the "Way-back Machine", Dave!

stanb aka "junebug" (I'm signed in under another account right now)

stanb aka "junebug" I thought the cartoon seemed vaguely familiar; but, there's no way I would've remembered it from the GSC.

Thanks. :-)
