A free Juliet Kelly download

Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a TV show that focused on black musicians from throughout the diaspora?

There are so many performers in the U.K. we never hear about in the United States. Such as pop-jazz vocalist Juliet Kelly.

A track from Ms. Kelly’s latest album is available as a FREE MP3... if you’re registered at AllAboutJazz.com.

Click here to hear her cabaret-style rendition of “Tainted Love.” To download it, follow this link to AllAboutJazz.

By the way, I never knew that “Tainted Love” was originally recorded in 1964 by an African-American singer... Gloria Jones. Wanna hear that original record? Click here.

Wow! Tainted Love was my jam!! I never knew that it was a cover. It's so funny to hear it a la 1964.

I've always known that Soft Cell covered it, but I couldn't have told you the name of the original artist.

Didn't know both songs of Soft Cell's big hit were covers. Love you, UBM.
