The world would be a dull place without the Japanese.I dunno if black folks would find this offensive. But it got a LOL from me.The best bit was when he sang "I see them broom / for me and you".
Da hell?Well, at least he can pronouce the r's. Just a bit of Thursday morning snarkiness until I can process the cooneration.
^ yeah, his engrish was rearry good. He could have done it with out the black face and been fine.

I think a lot of people in Japan wouldn't get why this could be deemed culturally insensitive. They have little experience of black people and tend to exoticize them somewhat. They love the black Brazilian soccer players who play in the J-League, there are entire subcultures based around black music, and many Japanese girls go crazy for black men. Yet a great many Japanese would also view blacks as being deeply inferior and savage.
