Speaking of Lofgren, he has a few FREE MP3s on offer at his website.He’s perhaps best known as a member of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band (since 1984). But Lofgren’s career as a bandleader and solo artist reaches back to 1971.

I loveloveloved Nils Lofgren when I was in high school. Brings back memories or driving to the beach with my friend Nanette singing Mud in Your Eye at the top of our lungs.
I loved the guitar on that song.
I love Nils. He always looks so joyful when he's playing.
The respect that Springsteen has for Lofgren's role in the E Street Band was made clear earlier this year when Bruce gave up his solo in "Because the Night" to Nils, because he didn't think Lofgren was getting enough time to shine in the current tour. I was lucky enough to see the show in April, and Lofgren's solo was one of the highlights.
