Something candid from Ricky Gervais and Louis CK

Two funny guys on a private jet. Trying to crack each other up. Using bad language when the flight gets bumpy. Et cetera.

I’m about to go on a comedy binge with this blog. (Inspired by Carlin’s passing, I suppose.) So enjoy this 5½-minute video, which Ricky Gervais uploaded earlier this month:

Same page, UBM.

I listened to "Back in Town" and "You Are All Diseased." Prior to this I hadn't been that familiar with Carlin's comedy. He was definitely a heavy hitter. I'm sorry I slept on him so long.

Oh, and I came across a blog that listed various groups that toured with Carlin. I saw this picture. Did Carlin sing, too?

After trying to catch up on Carlin, I started wondering who else am I missing out on? What other old school comedians mix comedy and social commentary? So, I'm in the middle of watching Paul Mooney's "Know Your History." And I listened to his "Race" CD (I want to listen to "Master Piece" when I get a chance.)

And yesterday I ordered Godfrey Cambridge's "Ready or Not...Here's Godfrey Cambridge" CD.
