excellent soundtrack for Mother's Day--although "Cosmic Slop" kinda threw me, LOL!

Thanks, Kellybelle. Black folk can get real sentimental about family in the music.

^ Glad you liked 'em, JJB. Those tunes took me back to junior high school.

That Intruders joint never leaves my mp3 player! What's "Mother's Day" without it?

I'd have never thought of "Cosmic Slop"; had to look up the lyrics.

GREAT old school choice of songs for mothers. Thanks!

Uh, Cosmic Slop is a bit tragic a story about Mama prostituting to feed the kids. Not a "Mother's Day" type song.

^ That's as real as anything else, though, PapaSean.

I've known a few mothers of the Cosmic Slop realm in my life and times. Though a tragic lament, the list would be incomplete without it.

Peace.
