I swear, all the cool people live in Brooklyn.Singer-songwriter Santi White – who records under the name “Santogold” for some reason – came out of the punk/new wave scene, with a little reggae influence. She used to be in a band called Stiffed. She sounds like a free spirit.

Good stuff! I LOVE Santi by herself, when she was with Stiffed and when she wrote songs for Res's album.

Tamar-kali does rock, punk, jazz, etc. In other words, she's artistically creative AND talented, lol.
