Tonight at 9, I’ll be watching the series finale of “Extras” on HBO, because Ricky Gervais is funny. (Read my man Alan Sepinwall’s review if you don’t believe me.)Gervais and his creative partner Stephen Merchant are like a post-post-modern Laurel & Hardy.
And if you’re not aware of it, Gervais has a few podcasts available for FREE via iTunes. In those, Gervais and Merchant engage in free-wheeling conversations with their peculiar friend Karl Pilkington, whom they mock mercilessly (though with affection).
