Reading this interview and other posts, I get a sense that you gauge your readers by their comments. Well, I found your blog from the Entertainment Weekly story. And knew your name in association with The Wire and The Corner, both of which I am a huge fan of. And I have been reading all the posts for the last month or so. But I don't usually comment. I can barely keep up with reading. So just wanted to send out a note as a representative reader who really enjoys your writings. But just doesn't speak up.

And I can relate. I comment much less than I should on my favorite blogs (like AngryBlackBitch, The Assimilated Negro, Afronerd and Blackprof).
