Meet Kayotic, a New Orleans rapper. I don’t know this cat or his music. Just stumbled on him on YouTube.
But we filmed part of an episode in this housing project, known as the Calliope (pronounced “Calio”). Master P was raised here. And as kids in the 1940s, the Neville Brothers lived in the Calliope for a while.
Guess you can't be a rapper named "Kayotic" a NOT have a gunshot wound.
ReplyDeletethis is a tangent but my dad and his siblings were raised in the Calliope in the 40's and the Calliope wasn't anything like it is now. Yes, it was low income housing, but you had to maintain your piece. If you had no mower, the city loaned you one and you cut your grass. if not you got put out. I guess you can't police cleaning patterns or behavior.
ReplyDeleteAnd some say Katrina was bad.....
ReplyDeleteYet another "drive by" exploitive moment for Undercover Brother No content ..No content...Nuttin
ReplyDeleteHaving been shot may increase his chances of becoming a huge rapping success. just look at 50 and Pac.. Guess we will see his music soon on TV and not only on the Internet.
