This is my 2,500th post.

I like marking these little milestones. Ten months ago I hit 2,000... and used that occasion to announce my retirement from blogging.

The retirement didn’t take, but clearly I’ve slowed my roll since 2008. I used to be a freak about this shit. Some of y’all remember.

Anyway... thank you to all my readers and commenters. Your feedback sustains me. I’m on a horse.

I'm so glad you got the bug and that you continue to show up here no matter how abbreviated.

It's fun to know what you are doing out in the world and what you are listening to!

Some folks are meant to ride, while others just pretend and make noise.

  8. Greg, you really could just stay on your own blog and leave David alone...he contributes far more than you. You're the retread has-been, whereas DM is a talented writer and has a lot of good shit to share.

    DM, Glad retirement didn't take!

  15. Did you ever comment on why you didn't leave? I figured it's the typical kind of thing of not being able to let go of something you dig doing, but if there's anything else to add to that, you know we're all ears.
