I was trying to figure out why there was suddenly a flood of Prince product on youtube then I came across an article saying he cut a deal with the company and they will pay him to air his music. Which, if true, is unprecedented.
Prince is one of those rare artists, like Sam Cooke, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and George Clinton, to be as creative in their dealmaking as they are in their music.
