  2. That was nice!

I had no idea Michael McDonald was on that track. I know nothing about Steely Dan. The "band" consisted of studio musicians?

Anyway, I REALLY like that track. I'm got some amazon.com promotional credits I need to spend.

    Thanks!

  3. Simply clueless.

I didn't realize that was Donald Fagan. I like "I.G.Y. (International Geophysical Year)" but can't remember if I ever knew there was a connection him and Steely Dan.

I do too, in fact. Hope I don't forget by Jan. 31.

  5. What a way to end the year: my all-time favorite album from my favorite band! You rock!

I saw most of this entire show on the Bio channel. I never knew how a Steely Dan album was put together. I missed the beginning of the show so maybe I can see it on YouTube.

Thanks and a very happy New Year!

  6. UBM, that's awesome, and thanks to the wonders of the internet, one click leads to another and then look at what I stumble unto. This woman, Tal Wilkenfeld, is I think *21* when she's filmed here performing with Jeff Beck and Vinnie Colaiuta.

Here's to a much better 2010! Cheers to you and yours.

  7. You can never get enough of Steely Dan! Nice to hear them talking about what they were looking for n that song.

For anyone who may be new to Steely Dan, get the album "Aja." I think it's their best
