A little off topic, perhaps, but I saw this group from Kinshasa play the other night and they were mind-blowingly good. Staff Benda Bilili is best known for being comprised of paraplegics and street kids but their story of triumph shouldn't overwhelm the fact that they lay down some serious Afro-funk'd rumba. Just completed their first European tour and a documentary is on the way-- you can check out a song and a couple video clips here:
