^ kj, that little dude Peter Dinklage is a real good actor. I've been wanting to work with him for years.

The British original was funny, huh?

I still don't feel eager to see it.

I hope that all the best jokes weren't shown in the trailer.

Peter Dinklage was amazing in Prince Caspian. I didn't realize it was him until I saw the movie the second time on a DVD and watched the "making of" afterwards. I would have sworn up and down that it was a British actor.

the british version: HYSTERICAL.

story funny from the first scene, just builds and builds.

each character's story is entertwined, and there are just enough of them. the acting is wonderful...we could not stop laughing. i watched it alone and then with my kids.

i have no interest in seeing a remake--they're usually not as good as a british original.

re: dinklage: loved the station master.

ok, i watched the trailer...they've made it pretty crass and dumbed down the dialogue quite a lot. you don't need to explain a joke!

The original is in the style of a classic British farce. Think Fawlty Towers stretched over 90 mins. Will be interesting to see how this translates.

I find the very idea of this remake strange. I know this happens in television all the time, but to have an English language film (one that received a semi-wide U.S. release no less) get remade after only two years? Just weird. I can't think of any other examples of this. Hopefully it'll be funny.

This trailer is everywhere, but I have yet to see anyone post that they think the film looks funny.

Looks pretty funny but....

I love Chris Rock. I think he is one of the top 5 stand up comics of all time. He can't act a bit, and I can't understand why people let him drive a movie.

Sheeeeit. They didn't even find a chick with a big booty to make Martin Lawrence's "ass is in graduate school" joke work.

This movie looks like comedy death.
