  2. Over at the blog "Why o Why?" yoy50 posted the video a couple of weeks ago asking if anyone knew the woman abusing her child. Someone responded and told the blogger who she was and "Why O Why?" turned the clip in to the authorities. Apparently the eldest daughter recorded the video.

  5. This is child abuse! I couldn't get past the first 25 seconds. I was about to cry for that poor little girl.

Every morning I have to tame my tender headed daughter's wild mop of hair. It can be a real chore to do her hair on some days, but I would NEVER yank her around like that. That clip was sickening.

That stupid mother needs lessons in good parenting, anger management and basic hair care - after she serves her sentence for torture.

  6. Wrong indeed. My daughter has hair much like that of the little girl in the video. Combing her hair is a struggle, but I work with it and (yes, it's nappy) as gently as possible. If it catch a nap, she cries and I feel awful. This clip isn't funny at all. This bitch could care less that her child is in pain.

  7. Fake hair and nails from mom. What do you expect?

The girls hair is fine. The mom is "tightly coiled".

Yeah, and I'm looking forward to Chris Rock's "Good Hair."

  11. If you're going to brush African hair that is tightly coiled (or some Jewish hair, for that matter), you have to prep it first. You can't just start yanking away at the hair, especially if it's dry. That mother should know better. Seriously. I'm sure she went though something similar as a child, so why would she want to put her own children through it?

And yes, Nelson George & Chris Rock's film is definitely on my list of movies to see this Fall.
