On the way home tonight I made a stop in Union Sq. (it's not far from the Village where they hold the annual Halloween parade). I saw a dog dressed as a hotdog. And nearly everyday adult was in some mode of Halloween dress.
Only after walking a few blocks did I see children in costumes. I'd almost forgotten that they celebrate Halloween too.
Love it! When it comes to Halloween costumes Americans just can't be beat! The folks over here are only witches, devils and vampires. Boring! You can tell a Yankee just by the costume: We're fun stuff: construction workers, princesses, butterflies. Boy, do I miss the Village Halloween parade!
Cute!
