Jamaican sprinters don't get enough love from the American press. Just after Asafa Powell first broke the 100 meter record, the bible of the sport, Track and Field News, misidentified him as his brother, Donovan Powell. ON THE COVER!! My Jamaican husband, a die-hard athletics fan, canceled his subscription on the spot.
Awesome. But still not as cool as when the Christian news site ID'd Tyson Gay as "Tyson Homosexual." http://voices.washingtonpost.com/sleuth/2008/07/christian_sites_ban_on_g_word.html
Willie Brown mistaken for (former)governor Jerry Brown. I think that was the San Jose Mercury News in an article about governors who have had their vetoes overwritten.
You're very welcome!

It was the San Jose Merc news and it shows the veto rates of California governors since 1976.
