He’s now based in Austin, Texas. And for the album “Do Your Thing” – released in 2007, but recorded pre-Katrina – Papa Mali hooked up with some illustrious New Orleaneans: Kirk Joseph, Henry Butler and Big Chief Monk Boudreaux.
