A free Raphael Saadiq download

Raphael Saadiq, formerly of Tony! Toni! Toné!, has a new album coming out next month... “The Way I See It.”

A track called “Love That Girl” is available as a FREE MP3. Click here to stream it on my Vox blog. Sounds like he’s on some Sam Cooke shit.

To download it, follow this link to KCRW.com. And you better act fast, because that link might only be active today.

  3. "Love That Girl" brings to mind the old Barbara Acklin tune, "Love Makes a Woman".

  4. Not Sam; sounds more Eddie Kendricks-y. I applaud dude for not being Ne-yo. I'll probably buy it--but sometimes I wonder why buy ish that sounds like old ish when I can buy the old ish?

  7. Neo-old school. :-) Thanks.

I absolutely LOVE Raphael's "Get Involved" off "The PJs" soundtrack. And that Lucy Pearl cut "Dance Tonight" was nice too.

  8. ALWAYS have loved him--did you know he started out with Shiela E before the Tonys were an official group? They were called "Hot Water, haha. He's always paid homage to 60's and 70's soul.

He is an amazing producer/writer/musician/perfomer. Gonna see him at The Roxy tomorrow....wth your girl Janelle as the opener!

  10. I came across an online community for individual seeking interracial love. It is ++++((((---Blackwhitemeet. C O M))))++++ All singles there are seeking interracial relationships. Interracial is not a problem here, but a great merit to cherish!
