Looks cool to me. I'm a Spock and Tuvak (sp?) fan. The tagline should say, "The Logical Choice in '08" or simply "Affirmative". Oh, wait! Maybe not Affirmative.
I think it's kinda cool. We all know Obama's a nerd, sort of a hipper Steve Urkel (but as I tell my kids, nerds are where it's at these days - they're the ones making all the money!).
Anyway, John Kass, columnist for the Chicago Tribune, thinks they should make a situation comedy, "The Bill and Barack Show." And who should play Barack. None other than Tim Russ, who played Tuvok on "Star Trek: Voyager":
^ Indeed I did. But after Liz Trotta, Bob Beckel, Roger Stone, E.D. Hill and Sean Hannity, I've decided that if I acknowledged every instance of anti-Obama sabotage on Fox News... I wouldn't have time to blog about anything else.
Glad to see that the liberal blogosphere is ever-vigilant, however. Getting a whiff of this year's GOP electoral playbook is enough to push me back to the left.
And those Fox fuckers... they just don't give a damn. It's all smears, innuendo, attacks, belittlement and mockery.
I'm still trying to figure out if I find this offensive:

RE: yours? Um, yea (in my Charlie Murphy voice)..wwwwrrrooo - WRONG!

ReplyDeleteWrong. On every level. This is GOP 'make Obama into the devil' stuff, boys.
ReplyDeleteHe's got some ears on him, but they're just big, not Spockish.
ReplyDeleteLooks like some dooder is trying to make a couple of tshirts.
Fly.
ReplyDeleteBut I agree..."the logical choice in '08" is the perfect tagline.
Actually, DAK, it's a "Star Trek" fangirl expressing her love.
ReplyDeleteIts not "hot", its not "not", its "whaaat??"

Aw, I kinda liked it. Spock was the coolest guy on the Enterprise. Plus, I would love to see him do the Vulcan death grip on Hillary supporters.
ReplyDelete^ Hee-hee...
ReplyDeleteI would vote for President Tuvok!
ReplyDeleteAnd not all Hillary supporters are the devil :-P
I love Star Trek so I think it's funny. He does kind of look like Tim Russ.
ReplyDeleteFor those who don't get the joke, sadly, it's demonic.
Did you see this crap?

I wish I knew how to counter-strike.

ReplyDeleteWe patiently await your return!
JohnB,
ReplyDeleteObama comes off nerdy to you? Really? Never got that vibe from him.
