Prince

I know I’ve been throwing a lot at y’all, and this video clip was kinda camaflouged. But in case it flew under your radar... embedded here is Prince’s performance on “The Tonight Show” last week.

UPDATE (05/05/08): Uh-oh... Hulu pulled down that Prince “Tonight Show” clip. I should’ve known it couldn’t last forever.

    Cool. But does anyone else hear Prince channeling Chuck Berry on that guitar solo? Chuck did it half a century ago and it still sounds great.

    I kept meaning to view the first link.

    If this had been 25 years ago, I'd have stayed awake until the wee hours of the morning to catch him on Don Kirschner's Rock Concert, or the Midnight Special.

    ^June 7th.

    Last year or the year before, my sister's co-worker's husband baked her a cake for Prince's birthday! It had purple frosting and that TAFKAP/unpronouceable symbol on it.

    Prince's birthday is like a pseudo-holiday to us. :-D
