I just got a robo-call from the Obama campaign inviting me (and thousands upon thousands of others, no doubt) to an event tomorrow morning at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion.
Oprah Winfrey. Caroline Kennedy. Michelle Obama. Together onstage.
Daaamn!
Unfortunately, I must get some work done that I’ve been putting off. Otherwise I’d seriously consider wading into the mass of humanity that’ll converge upon Westwood for this political monster-truck rally. (The pavilion seats about 13,000.)
So... rock the house, ladies! Close that gender gap! (And if you wanna add one more voice – do a “Barry Jane Girls” type thang – and cop some Hispanic votes? Here’s whom to call.)
It must be a tour. They were just here in Denver on Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteHell of a tour.
ReplyDeleteDamn I wish I was there, I stood with about 20,000 others when he was in St. Louis last night. Go Obama!
ReplyDeleteForgot one. Big Arnold's wife Maria Shriver endorsed Obama yesterday as well. IT is a quartet.
ReplyDeleteRight now Hillary and Obama are in a dead heat in Cali. If he takes it away from her it will be a big psychological blow although they will likely split the delegates...

^ D.H. ... Last night I saw Hillary "Divide and Conquer" Clinton's TV ad targeted to Latinos in California... starring Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Cesar Chavez's grandson.
ReplyDeleteCesar Chavez's grandson? Good move. :)
