This clip has been circulating in the blogosphere for days. But justjudith is the first blogger I’ve seen who identified the speaker: Marty King (MLK III).
Spread this one around, peoples. (Yo, Bill... don’t start none, won’t be none, bruh.)

This is why my mother hates sitting up in the pulpit. It's boring, it gets hot and you're all exposed and can't fidget or take an unintentional '10-second nap.
I ain't mad at Bill either! Boring is boring! This generation of Kings are incredibly underwhelming, to say the least. There is no there, there.
This generation of Kings are incredibly underwhelming...
Daughterofthedream, you keep it real. I've always felt bad for Marty in particular, having to carry the name. (I interviewed him in 1988, when he served on the Fulton County Commission. There was definitely the sense back then that he couldn't fill his father's shoes. But who could?)
I can understand how Bill felt. Boring is Boring I don't care who it is. He needs a Red Bull.
^ You too, JJ? Everybody feeling all bad for Bill.
It ain't like he never gave a long, boring speech. ;^)
No one ID'd MLK III?
I've seen this posted, but haven't dared to watch it.
Now, had it been Dexter King reading telephone book listings, he'd have had my full attention. :P
Two ways to look at this one.
1) Bill has a hectic schedule and cat naps just sneak up on ya.
2) Ask to sit out of the camera shot if you are feeling 'tired' or wear the shaded reading glasses..
He got TMZ'd.. hah
it don't matter whether he's boring or not. your wife is running for president, you are blasting her chief rival, a black man -- you are proud to be looked on fondly by black people and you are asleep behind mlk's son on mlk day. it's just not a class move. i don't care if it was bobby brown talking -- stay awake or excuse your self.
He (or she) that is without sin among you, let him (or her) cast the first stone. I'm just sayin'...
He's on a hectic schedule and he's old. Yeah, he could have excused himself, but then what the commentary have been like? He can't catch a break.
