Here’s a funny video of a father kicking his two young sons in the head, knocking them on their asses, and tossing them around like rag dolls. Rocky Chavez may not win Father of the Year, but he’s my pick for YouTube Star of Tomorrow.
Back in March, Mr. Chavez felt obliged to explain online: “... i know that at times it's gonna look like i abuse my kids but the fact is my kids are tough they love to horse play...”
Indeed, I bet little Nick and Rocky Jr. had a blast making this video. It’s always fun till somebody’s spine gets broken.
Hat-tip: Ernie’s House of Whoopass. (NSFW)
Haha I used to do this with my younger brother too but he got hurt once (nothing serious). My mom was not happy.
ReplyDeleteGreat, another set of working class psychos receiving the nurturing they need for the future.
ReplyDeleteIn some ways, this is a black thing. The old-fashioned perspective is: It's the mother's job to love 'em... but it's the father's job to teach 'em how to survive.
ReplyDeleteI thought it was kind of funny. And probably a lot safer than the time my cousins egged my sister and I into fighting and she gave me a concussion by slamming me into a tree.
ReplyDelete^ Your own sister head-slammed you?? Dang, dez...
ReplyDeleteEh, in her defense, she was only 9 and I was 11, and she didn't mean for me to slam into the tree when she was swinging me around. Our cousins were in their teens and should have known better than to start the fight, let alone allow it to get that far.
ReplyDeleteI got the giggles when the little one in the yellow shirt belatedly remembered his bow and I was laughing by the end.
ReplyDeleteMy dad used to do this with me and my brother when we were litte. He was a social worker when I was little and he saw real abused kids all day long.
This guy is totally controlling the flips with his hand strength and he's pushing them with his hands and feet as opposed to punching and kicking.
I don't know how anyone could think this was truly abuse - those kids look like they're having a blast.
Of course if they try to take this show to school someone is probably going to end up crying.
Looks a bit extreme to me, but the sound effects probably make it appear worse. I'm sure the kids love the attention from Dad, but it hardly seems like the most constructive way they could spend their time together.

ReplyDeleteAhhh.... Nothing like a little self-justification to placate that cognitive dissonance.

ReplyDeleteExactly! In case a person couldn't tell, the sounds, lifted straight from video games like Tekken and Marvel vs Capcom, made it obvious.
