Dang, dez, you're old enough to remember "New Zoo Revue"? I used to watch it every morning before going to school.
A few of its godawful melodies and lyrics remain stuck in my head. To wit: We see because of li-ight... That's ri-ight.
Supposedly this bit of high jinks in the vidclip took place on the last day of taping for the series. I don't know that for a fact, just something somebody wrote in a YouTube comment, but it sounds credible.
^ I'm somewhat younger than you, so all I remember is the theme song :P
I can still sing a bunch of Sesame Street and Electric Company songs, though :-)
