Yeah you would see a Korean or russian baby doing that, If they had THOSE parents LOL.... you're not insinuating this has something to do with race right? Class, yes culture, maybe.. I don't even want to say the parents are ignorant because I don't know them. I just think the kid's brilliance isn't being nurtured in the proper way. Cute kid though.
That a shame. A scandal and a shame. (my word verification is "pelding" which is what is happening to this child--purposely stunting your child's growth with foolishness)
I hold out hope that, in the year 2030, this girl's parents will display this video clip for laughs on the occasion of her graduation, cum laude, from Duke.
UBM, uh, that was a blue diaper. It may have been one of those gender-specific diapers which makes me suspect that it was a boy - with a top knot. Doubly scary!
She's a real good dancer, but socks on the table scare me to death, and even if she was wearing a helmet - it's disturbing to watch a 2 year old drop it like it's hot.
haha you guys are late. i saw this months ago on media take out. i thought this baby can dance and can pick up stuff at such a young age. ya'll are right they should build on that. is the baby a boy or a girl? i thought it was a boy. i'm sure russian kids and korean kids have their own problems. the only time you usually see korean kids under the influence is when they are older and get that first glance of hip hop then it's booty shaking time. in addition there is loads of questionable parenting here but they don't question it here.
Well, okay. I understand the concerns expressed here and even share many of them. However, I can't help but wonder how is this dancing baby video any different than, let's say, the one that was all over the internet little over a month ago? We collectively howled when we saw that white baby (from Australia by the way) bouncy bounce and do his little thing to Beyonce's "Single Ladies" video, and even do a little stanky leg too for good measure, according to his father in an subsequent "Access Hollywood" interview.
So, it's about the parents and the exposure the give their kids, I guess, rather than the actual race of the kid.

Blame it on the jes grew.
Blame it on the Boogie.
@Ill: wow. completely agreed.
^ well said III !
What bothers me the most is that the baby is on the table and can fall at anytime.
Not making any real point, but the room's light, once the camera changes, reminds me of PRECIOUS the film.
Falling off the table was my first thought. Second, at least take the baby's socks off. Third, kid's got moves compared to the Beyoncé doing Bob Fosse fan. Fourth, these parents need to be SLAPPED.

yes, the socks...and being on the table period...is an error.
also letting your kid watch enough hoochie videos to learn this dance is also wrong.

Eggs-xaaaaaactly.
She might be some kind of protege one day.
Lydia Claire you nailed it!

^ Don't add to your worries, GG. Somebody says at the beginning, "She on top of the table!"

I had the overwhelming urge to put a few dollars in the pull-up...
Me too UBM...It's possible...

UBM, you didn't forget about that youtube video of the little South Asian girl dancing provocatively? You posted it here, somewhere.
It's not just a display in parental stupidity, it's child porn, David. Pure and simple.
OK, maybe the parents aren't exemplary.
But this little girl is clearly very talented: very strong power of observation and extraordinary muscle
coordination.
As for this video being akin to child porn?
Well, only in the mind of the observer.
Anna
Saw this video a couple weeks ago and wished I could call social services.
Let's hope the parents who are teaching her how to dance are also planning to teach her how to read in a couple years.

That is because they cannot dance. Get over it.
