geez i think this is better than the movie version.
this song has always given me chills...when I saw the play...when I saw the movie, as treat was marching into the C130...and now...

it's a damn shame how rarely Broadway does anything culturally relevant like HAIR or JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (which just found its way into my car stereo this week, oddly enough).
I always loved this music from when I was a kid, and yeah, that clip crushed that well intentioned but bad film in the 80s.
A name to remember: Jamal Sawab... the bad brother who starts this clip off (and ends it).
