... this little girl? And guess what? Her name is Sasha... just like the president-elect’s daughter! (From the Los Angeles Times.)

David, Get used to cute. Sasha and Malia are cuter than cute. An 'unintended consequences' of Barack winning is America finally has another FIrst Family. Once again, we can have a first dog, cat and all of the other firsts we love, but haven't really had since the early 60's - you can't count Amy Carter and the Bush twins.
As kids have a tendency to do, maybe they will play a part in bringing down some of the walls between the races. I think their parents are fabulous role models for this task...
I just remembered.... My first thought at seeing that this little girl's name was "Sasha" was whether that baby name will increase in popularity during the next four years? :-)

Not only is that cute, but it's a great project for election night.
Maybe she will understand the whole electoral vote vs. popular vote better than I do when she finally gets to go to the polls.
Sasha in 2050!
^ Yeah! (She's got that look in her eye.)
Man, I am so jealous...what a great idea. I've been meaning to buy my kids a map...the election is a great way to learn geography!
